05 June 2012: ITFoM & Austrian participation in international research initiatives using the example of BBMRI

The main part of this morning session will be dedicated to the proposed EU Future and Emerging Technologies Flagship Project IT Future of Medicine.

Prof Hans Lehrach (Director Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics) will give a short presentation about IT Future of Medicine followed by his corresponding US counterpart and rounded off by an extensive discussion amongst key policy-makers.

The event will be completed by an introductory presentation about Austrian participation in international research initiatives using the example of BBMRI given by Prof Kurt Zatloukal.
