The University of Aizu
Description of Organisation
ARC-Medical officially started its activities on September 1, 2009. One of the most important activities of ARC-Medical is research in areas related to both “medicine” and “information science” and to connect specialists in both fields. The University of Aizu is proud of its international researchers in information science, who have attained a great number of scientific results. However, those achievements have hardly been given back directly to society because research on how to give back research achievements to society (so-called “exit research”) and practical activities for this purpose have not been given a high priority. Given these circumstances, we will focus on research projects for which results can be given back to society in the near future seriously taking into account the above point. is research in areas related to both “medicine” and “information science” and to connect specialists in both fields. The University of Aizu is proud of its international researchers in information science, who have attained a great number of scientific results.
