Description of Organisation

Digital ArtForms are experts in immersive interaction and visualization. Since 1998 they have developed cutting-edge tracked applications for several markets, including Design, Military, Security, Training, and Medicine. With funding and oversight from the U.S. Army’s Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) Digital ArtForms developed and validated iMedic3D, a fully immersive DICOM visualization system that employs a novel and powerful Two-Handed Interface (THI).   In a major study conducted for TATRC, THI was shown to be up to 9 times as efficient as the mouse in the performance of fundamental 3D tasks.

Previous experience

Digital ArtForms have built several software platforms for Government and Industry including iMedic3D, its immersive 3D DICOM visualization and manipulation environment, C2THI, an immersive Command and Control system, and InDex, the world’s first commercial immersive 3D modeling system.
