The IT Future of Medicine (ITFoM) Consortium has met in Berlin on 9-10 February 2012 with 120 partners to plan the next steps towards building the 'virtual patient' model.
31 January 2012: ITFoM in the German radio (Deutschlandradio)
Dr. Alexander Kühn (Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, Berlin) introduces ITFoM and its potentials in an interview in the German 'Deutschlandradio' (GERMAN).
30 January 2012: Radio-Broadcast about ITFoM in Autrian Radio Ö1
The broadcast in the Austrian Radio Ö1 'Wissen Aktuell' from January 2012 introduces ITFoM and its goal to foster personalized medicine with the 'virtual twin' over the next years. Prof. Angela Brand (Maastricht University) explains the underlying concept and its implications for the future health care systems (GERMAN language).

Dr. Kühn has won the 1st price in an essay competition by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the German DIE WELT.
